The contractors completed paving the second and final layer of asphalt on Nippersink Boulevard. They also completed the landscape restoration, removed the detour and traffic control devices, and began some punch list work as well as general clean up.

Next week, weather permitting, the contractors plan to continue the electrical work on the street lighting poles, install the new pavement markings along Nippersink Boulevard, and continue the general clean-up work.

Motorists should expect minor delays as the roadway work winds down along Nippersink Boulevard. Please be aware of construction workers and equipment when traveling through the work zone.

The contractors completed pavement patching in various locations, adjusted structure frames to finish grade in the roadway, and installed the new street light poles along the east side of Nippersink Boulevard.
